He was born May 18, 1932 in Nabb, IN and passed away Saturday, February 13, 2010, at St. Catherine Regional Hospital.
He was a retired maintenance man for the old Oxy Chemical in Clarksville, attended North Charlestown Church of God and was a former U.S. Marine during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post 335 and the V.F.W. Post 1427 both in Charlestown
He was preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Sally Newton Roberts and a brother Deb Roberts.
He is survived by his wife the former Dottie May, sons; Jeffery (Yolanda) Roberts and Robin (Joanie) Roberts, daughters; Karen Roberts Newcomb and Carmen Roberts all of Charlestown, brothers: Ray Roberts of Clarksville and Glen Roberts of Sellersburg, sister; Ruth Ann Allen of Clarksville, grandchildren; Jessica Baxter Ledbetter, Aimee Roberts Doherty, Matt & Jacob Roberts, Taylor and Tyler Newcomb, great granddaughter Kimberlyn Doherty.
