Mr. Prather passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was born on May 6, 1916 in Charlestown, IN the son of Thomas and Laura Prather who preceded him in death. He also was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Gallman Prather on July 20, 2002. Mr. Prather was retired from the former Lutz Ready Mix Co. where he was a dispatcher and bookkeeper. He was a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and was a consultant for the Watson Water Company.
He is survived by a daughter, JoAnn Clark and her husband Richard, Jeffersonville; a son, Larry Prather and his wife Florence, Matthews, NC; two step-grandchildren, Scott Clark and Cindy Powell.
