Kenneth Leroy Massingale, 74, of Charlestown passed away Thursday September 29, 2011 at Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was born on December 11, 1936 in Harlan County, KY the Son of General Porter and Martha Gladys Massingale. He retired from Naval Ordnance in Louisville.
Survivors include his son, Randy Massingale(Sylvia); companion, Cheryl Veach; brother, Billy Ray Massingale; sister Helen Jean Jackson; grandsons, Zachary, Samuel, Seth and Noah.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, October 3, 2011 at Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown. Visitation will be on Sunday from 12 noon to 6 P.M. and after 9 A.M. Monday until time of service. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Evarts Memorial Gardens in Harlan County, KY.
