Kenneth Dale Crick

Kenneth Dale Crick, 76, of Charlestown, Indiana, passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 1, 2025. Kenneth was born in Madisonville, Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eldon B. Crick and Ethel Kate Crick; his grandparents, Elmer Commodore Crick and Paradine Crick; his brother, Charles Jefferson Crick; and his sister, Linda Kay King.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Shirley Ann Crick; his brothers, James Norris and Ray B. Crick; and his two sisters, Clara Troub (Gerry) and Marie Brock. He is also survived by his four children: Steven Dale Crick (Rita), Kenneth Edward Crick (Michelle), Kathy Ann Willbanks (Christopher), and Stacy Lee Padgett (James). Kenneth leaves behind 16 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

He enjoyed the simple things in life and was a devoted husband, father, and family man. Kenneth was a skilled tradesman in welding and metal fabrication early in his career. Later, he worked as a contractor, installing vinyl siding, gutters, and windows.

Kenneth cherished time with the love of his life, Shirley, and found joy in being outdoors—whether hunting, fishing, or digging for American ginseng.

Visitation will be at Grayson Funeral Home, 893 High Street, Charlestown, IN on Sunday, July 6 from 12:00 to 8:00 pm and again on Monday from 9:00 to 10:00 am, with his service beginning at 10:00 in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow in Daisy Hill Cemetery, Borden, IN.
