Kenneth Alan Cardin

Kenneth Alan Cardin, 69 of Jeffersonville, IN passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024, at his home.

He was born on August 11, 1954, in Jeffersonville to Winford Kenneth and Betty Herron Cardin.  He was a retired Pharmacist from Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville for more than 20 years.  He enjoyed playing the guitar, listening to Beatles music, especially Paul McCartney, reading comic books like “The Hulk” and being a grandpa.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jerry Cardin.

Survivors include his daughter, Lindsey Hyre, and her husband Hamilton of Jeffersonville; stepson, Derek Carpenter of Jeffersonville; sister, Tammy Phipps of Charlestown, IN, and granddaughter, Kaydence Hyre.

Life Celebration service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown.  Burial will follow in Charlestown Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm and again from 10:00 am until service time also at the funeral home.
