Kennea L. May

Kennea May, 65, of Charlestown, Indiana, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2026. She was born on August 13, 1961 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to John and Deloris (Taylor) May. She is preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Alexander Raisor, brothers, Daniel May, Clinton May.

Kennea enjoyed spending time with her family above anything. Her other hobbies included cheering for the UK Wildcats basketball, going to Huber's, any outings that she could attend with her River Crossing friends, holiday celebrations, and making everyone fill welcome.

Kennea is survived by her loving daughters, Delores 'Dee' (Mike Higdon) Smith, and LaVonne (Lee Elzy) May, grandchildren, Angel (Garet Burton) Raisor, Autumn (Brandon Everwine) Raisor, Hayden May, Haylee Chadwell, Hadlee Chadwell, and Hadlynn Chadwell, siblings, Rhonda Kern, Kevin May, Ronald May, James May, John May Jr., Shetila Rambert, and Jimmy Farmer.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown. Her funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, also at Grayson Funeral Home.
