Kendall Bratcher, Sr.

Kendall Bratcher, Sr, age 77, of Otisco, IN passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012 at his home.

Mr. Bratcher was born June 26, 1935 in Grayson County, KY the son of Arthur and Octava Greathouse Bratcher. He was retired from the Jay-C Store in Charlestown after several years, a member of the Back Yard Classic Car Club and the former Trinity Family Fellowship Church in Charlestown. He took pride in all he did, enjoyed life and loved his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Patricia Treece Bratcher; sons, Kenny Bratcher, Jr(Rebecca), Fortson, GA, Dwayne Bratcher(Melda), Charlestown, Brian Bratcher, Clarksville, IN, Kevin Bratcher(Lisa), New Albany, IN and Tom Johnson(Vicki), Marysville, IN; daughters, Pamela Meek(Jeff), New Washington and Jennifer Firkins(Wayne), Marysville, IN who lovingly cared for her daddy in his final days; sister, Betty Long; twelve grandchildren, Chanel, Amanda, Kenny III, Dwayne Jr., Lauren, Brandon, Jeffrey, Rachel, Ashley, Samantha, Seth and Natalie; six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December  6, 2012 at the Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will held at 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 9:00 A.M. Thursday until time of service. Expressions of Sympathy in memory of Mr. Bratcher may take the form of donations to Riley Children Hospital in Indianapolis.
