Kathleen "Kathy" Susan Lehman

Kathleen Susan “Kathy” Lehman, 66 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020.  Kathy was born on November 6, 1954 in Winchester, KY to the late Colonel and Nancy Muncy Blankenship.  She was recently retired from University of Louisville and spent time helping her neighbors, vacationing with her siblings, gardening, caring for her pond, reading, and walking her three beloved pugs.  Charlestown Public library knew her by name and had a good book waiting for her.  Visitors to the Charlestown dog park knew her as the pug lady.  Kathy was an accomplished stained-glass artist and a great ucher player.

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Nancy Montague.

Kathy is survived by her daughter, Renee Lehman (Eric Ehrler) of Charlestown; son, Dan Lehman (Kelly) of Jeffersonville; granddaughter, Callie Lehman; sisters, Terry Blankenship (Michael Paris) of North Carolina and Tammy Blankenship of Florida; brother, Bob Blankenship of West Virginia.  She also leaves behind her dear friends, Betsy Pickles, Bob Trester and the Giltner Family.

Cremation has been chosen with a memorial service to be held at a later date.

Kathy’s family respectfully ask the expressions of sympathy and love take the form of donations to the Charlestown Public Library or your local animal shelter.
