Kathleen Jo Schuler, 57, passed away surrounded by loved ones in her home on October 14, 2024. Kathleen was a loving wife, sister, aunt and friend. She lived a full, happy life guided by strength and fierce love for her friends and family.
She was born August 16, 1967, in Lansing, Michigan. Over the years she also lived in Utah, Indiana, and her beloved Kansas City, Missouri.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, George Urdiales Sr. and Jolene Urdiales. She is survived by her husband, Chuck Schuler; siblings, Rebecca Urdiales, George Urdiales Jr. and family, Joseph Urdiales (Rosalinda) and family and Devona Lamb (Patrisio) and family; her sister-in-law Lori Gavin (Shawn), brother-in-law John Schuler (Elizabeth) and family, sister-in-law Suzanne Schuler (Daniel Guillory) and family; her nieces, Lindsay Gavin, Madison McGathey (Hunter), Hannah Lippincott, Claudia Tanner (Monica).
Kathleen was a cosmetologist for more than 20 years. She was a three-time Boston Marathon runner and loved her running friends deeply. Kathleen also loved Christmas and home decorating. But perhaps most of all, she loved cheering on her Kansas City Chiefs!
Kathleen spent 31 wonderful years with the love of her life, her husband Chuck. Together they were devoted pet parents to Bailey, Meg, KC, and Rosie. They traveled the world, ran marathons, cooked delicious meals, hosted beautiful parties for friends and family, and brought out the best in each other. If ever there were two people meant to be together, it’s Chuck and Kathleen.
It was Kathleen’s wish to forgo a funeral service. Instead, she wants her family and friends to live life to the fullest every day in her honor.
