Karen S. (Vanover) Lovins

Karen S. Lovins 76 of Henryville, IN passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at her home with family by her side.

She was born on July 20, 1947, in Louisville, KY to Alfred and Elizabeth Huff Vanover.  Karen was a homemaker, raising two sons and being the wife to Billy for 43 years.  Karen enjoyed working on puzzles, watching Kentucky basketball, and spending time with her family.  Karen was preceded in death by her husband Billy, and her sisters Phyllis and Sandra.

Survivors include her sons, Brian Lovins (Amy) of Henryville and Travis Lovins (Rebecca) of Memphis, IN; grandchildren, Brianna Lovins, Lauren Lovins, Parker Lovins, Billy Lovins, Helena Akemon and Calah Akemon; sister, Cheryl Maxey (Johnny) of Louisville, KY and her caregivers, Toni Zayyad and Samantha Hunt.

Life Celebration Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
