Mr. Murphy a former truck driver and member of the Pleasant Ridge First Church Of God died Sunday June 25, 2006 at Jewish Hospital. He is survived by his wife Wanda Murphy, daughters Justine Murphy and Edna Bobo, step daughters Jody Collett and Tabitha Reynolds, parents Al and Edna Murphy, brothers Sam and Timothy Murphy and two grandchildren.
