Junior Lee Keeton, 84 of Lexington, IN passed away on Sunday January 24, 2016 at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg, IN.
Mr. Keeton was born on June 9, 1931 in Jeffersonville, IN to Samuel L. and Myrtle M. Stallings Keeton. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Chelsea Church of God and worked for 35 years at the Madison State Hospital as a nurse.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Debra Keeton; brothers, Jimmy, Gerald and Kenny Keeton
Mr. Keaton is survived by his wife, Beatrice Tyree Keeton; daughters, Donna Cloud (Rick) of Lexington and Linda A. Keeton of Madison, IN; son, Ronald L. Keeton of Lexington; sisters, Carrie Smith of Chicago, IL, Shirley Hampton of New Albany, IN and Juanita Arms of Charlestown, IN; brother, Robert Keeton of Jeffersonville; grandchildren Amanda Cloud of Lexington, IN and Trista Cloud of Seymour, IN.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Friday at Chelsea Church of God in Chelsea, IN with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery in New Washington, IN. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 pm to 8 pm at the church and again on Friday after 11 am at the church.
