Joyce Marie Moore passed away at her home on June 17, 2016 in Hibernia, IN with her loving husband Dean Moore of 68 yrs. by her side.
She was born in Clark Co., IN on March 9, 1930 to the late Ione and Lawrence Stone. She had 2 daughters Deanna McDaniel (Gerald), Becky Rivers (Mike), Son Bill Moore (Sally), grandchildren Treva Burgin (Bryan) & children, Wyatt Rivers (Kelly), Cody Moore (Brooke). Sister Carole Scales (Corky) sons Bryan (Medina) & Brent (Allison) & families, Sister Irene Mathis (Ernie) both deceased, Their Daughters Karen DeCamp(David), Gayle Hebner (Mike), Libby Smith, deceased (Bob), Debby Carroll (Bruce) and their families. Joyce was proceeded in death by her daughter Becky.
Joyce graduated from Charlestown High School and had several careers in her lifetime. She worked at the Clark Co. Court House with Homer Clegg, owned & operated her own beauty shop, worked several years at the IN Ammunition Plant, and lastly was secretary for The Michael Baker Co.
Joyce loved to travel. She enjoyed socializing & baking for her many friends. Her green thumb and love of flowers was shared with many. Joyce was known for her amazing memory.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Owen Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. on Tuesday until time of services.
