Joyce Ann (Nugent) Mickel

Joyce Ann Mickel 57, of Charlestown, IN passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN.

Joyce was born on March 23, 1964, in Jeffersonville, IN to Estil and Marylyn Sue Brown Nugent.  She was a member of the former Faith World Outreach Center in Charlestown.  She was preceeded in death by her parents and her son, James R. Mickel, Jr.

Joyce is survived by her husband, James R “Dick” Mickel, Sr; her daughter, Jessica A. Mickel (Rocxy) of Clarksville, IN, her brothers, Mike Nugent and his wife Yong of Temecula, CA and John Nugent and his wife Rhonda of Uniontown, PA.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Friday September 17, 2021, at Grayson Funeral Home with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday and after 9:00 am on Friday.
