Joyce Anita Franklin, 73, of Clarksville, IN, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was born on July 23, 1942 to Jess Allen and Roxie Mae (Haycraft) Franklin in Clark County, IN. She retired from Bell South after 30 years of service, and was a member of the Hibernia Christian Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Beatrice Holmes, Imogene Vest, Euleta Morgan; brothers, Robert Franklin, Laymon Franklin, Allus Franklin, and Herman Franklin
Survivors include her sisters, Marie Dimmitt of Clarksville, IN, Delores Gray of Connersville, IN, and Edwina Lawson of Pendleton, IN; brothers, Lewis Franklin of Logansport, IN, Danny Franklin of Scottsburg, IN, and Cletus Franklin of Scottsburg, IN; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 1pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial to follow in the Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 10am on Thursday.
