Joshua T. Caldwell, 40 of Sellersburg, IN passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024, surrounded by his family at IU Health-University Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

Joshua was born on January 4, 1984, in Louisville, KY. He was a former life skills coach at Charlestown High School, head football coach of Charlestown Middle School, statistics teacher and head football coach at Rock Creek Community High School, School Bus Driver, and Manager at the former Rite-Aide Pharmacies in the area. Joshua was an avid UK basketball fan, enjoyed his families’ former sports memorabilia store in Charlestown. He loved his family coaching and even had the opportunity to coach his children.

Survivors include his wife, Alexis Voyles; children, Abigail Voyles, Ethan Caldwell, Isabella Caldwell, and Orion Caldwell all of Sellersburg, IN; mother, Teresa Caldwell of Sellersburg, IN; grandmother, Lucy E. Guernsey of Sellersburg, IN; brothers, Michael Crotchett (Rene’) of Charlestown, IN, and Bradley Caldwell (Brittany) of Salem, IN; father-in-law, Monte Voyles of Sellersburg, IN; aunt, Sherry Morrison (Arthur) of Lithia Springs, GA; uncles, William "Bill" Guernsey (Donna) of Ocala, FL, and Steven Guernsey of Jeffersonville, IN;  several nieces, nephews and other family members. Joshua was preceded in death by his grandfather, William A. Guernsey; cousin, Ryan Morrison; Granny Guernsey; mother-in-law, Anna Voyles.

Cremation was chosen with no services scheduled at this time. Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown will be assisting the Caldwell Family.
