Josephine Ruth Smith, 70, of Otisco, IN, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at University of Louisville Hospital..
She was born on December 29, 1944 to Montie Crabtree and Lonnie Criswell in Clay County, KY.
She was preceded in death by her father and mothers, Lonnie Crabtree and Mimmie Crabtree, daughter, Tina Smith and brothers, Cecial and Buddy Crabtree.
Survivors include her husband, Eligie Smith, Sr. of Otisco, IN; sons, Montie Smith (Amanda Tindall) of New Albany, IN, Eligie Smith, Jr. (Lisa) of Charlestown, IN; daughters, Patty Lesnet (Allan) of Charlestown, IN, Jodie Dickerson (Kenny) of Paris, KY, Debbie Harrington (Todd Josephine) of Guston, KY, and April Howard of Austin, IN; sister, Leona Smith of Charlestown, IN; 31 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 15, 2015 at 2:30pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial in the Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 12pm to 8pm, and after 9am on Monday.
