Joseph “Joey” Colvin, Sr., 69, passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at his home.
He was born on October 24, 1943 to Stirrel and Alma (Lewis) Colvin in Utica, IN.
He was former owner/Operator for Charlestown Stained Glass, and a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle in Sellersburg, IN. He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, and 4 sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Warren Colvin; daughters, JoAnn Cowherd (Rick) of Lanesville, IN, Teresa Kinsey (Thurl) of Granbury, TX, and Gina Hill (Jonathan) of Salem, IN; sons, Joseph Colvin, Jr. (Penny) of Memphis, IN, and Glenn Colvin (Treasea) of Charlestown, IN; sister, Dolores Abston of Utica, IN; 17 Grandchildren, Rachel, Ricky, Micheal, Sarah, Stephen, Heather, Glenn Jr., River, Nick, Kayla Jonathan Jr., Brittany, James, Austin, Joey III, Katie, and Jonah; 6 Great-Grandchildren, Gracie, Lucas, Lily, Joey IV, Claudia, and Logan.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 10:30am at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial to follow in the Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2pm to 8pm and after 9am on Saturday.
