Jon Warren Griffin, 62, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at his home.
He was born on December 12, 1947 to Walter Andrew and Marilynn Rose Long Griffin in Jeffersonville; IN. He was a graduate of Jeffersonville High School. He was a certified master mechanic for 40 years and worked at Alignrite in Jeffersonville
Survivors include his wife Wanda Helton Griffin of Marysville, IN; sons, Jonathan A. Mitchell of Indianapolis, IN, Richard and James Bower both of Jeffersonville, IN, and John Bower of New Market, IN; daughters, Dawn L. Judd of Indianapolis, IN and Lisbeth Banks of Jeffersonville, IN; brother, Robert S. Ogden of Denver, CO, sister, Deborah Griffin of Jeffersonville, IN; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 5, 2010 at 11am at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial in the New Market Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4pm to 8pm and after 9am on Friday.
