John William Stillhammer, 73, of Hanover, IN, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at King’s Daughters Hospital.
He was born on August 26, 1942 to William H. and Ruby E. Burnette Stillhammer in Madison, IN.
He was a barber, who also enjoyed making friends and family laugh, playing Euchre, singing, woodworking, and fixing up old cars. He attended both the Hanover United Methodist Church and the Hanover Baptist Church. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion.
Survivors include his sister Sharon Stillhammer Hurst of Lexington, KY; nephews Harold Glenn Hurst III (Megan) of Sharpsburg, KY and William Richard Hurst of Lexington, KY; great nephews Silas Gilvin Hurst, and Arlo Glenn Hurst.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday Spetember 20, 2015 at 2pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in Hanover with burial to follow in Hanover Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday beginning at 1pm until the time of the service.
