Mr. Peake passed away on Saturday Feb. 13, 2010 at Nurog Healthcare in Laona, Wisconsin.
He was born on Jan. 31, 1920 in Louisville, KY to Lawrence and Marietta Marchand Peake. Mr. Peake was a machinist in the auto manufacturing business, served in the US Army and was a member of the VFW Post 1427 and the American Legion Post 335.
He is survived by his daughter Ruth Benoit of Townsend, WI; son John A. Peake, Jr. of Milwaukee, WI; 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
