John Dewey Mattingly, 57, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2011 at St. Catherine Regional Hospital.
He was born on April 19, 1953 to Edward L. and Jeanetta Jones Mattingly in Jeffersonville, IN. He also worked as a mechanic.
Survivors include his wife; Sharon Banet Mattingly of Charlestown, IN; sons; J.T. Cox (Kristin) of Charlestown, IN, Randy Mattingly(Amanda) of Henryville, IN, and Robert Mattingly of Charlestown, IN; daughters; Jo Lynn Grayson (Paul) of Charlestown, IN and Bobbie Mosley (Jimmy) of Sellersburg, IN; brothers; Marvin Mattingly (Vanessa) of Memphis, IN and Deric Mattingly (Norma) of Jeffersonville, IN; sisters; Gloria Burress of Clarksville, IN and Dolores Lawhorn (William) of Clarksville, IN; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 11am at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2pm to 8pm, and after 9am on Thursday.
Expressions of sympathy can be made to Kosair’s Children’s Hospital or St. Judes.
