Mr. Kavanaugh died peacefully in his sleep Wednesday April 18, 2007 at Kindred Hospital in Louisville, Ky. He was a member and Elder of the Old Salem United Methodist Church and 50 + year cardholder member of Iron Workers Local #70, worked on the Kennedy Bridge and Madison, IN stacks and other prominent projects. Survivors include daughters, Kathleen Hayes and Linda Beeler, son Michael (Mary) Kavanaugh, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren
