John Wortham Daugherty

Mr. Daugherty was born on September 6, 1922 to John W. and Maud George Daugherty in Louisville and died Sunday August 26, 2007 at University Hospital in Louisville. Mr. Daugherty was a Army Air Corps veteran of WWI and a retired maintenance mechanic for Dupont. He was a member of the Ninth and O Baptist Church in Louisville and the Parkland Masonic Lodge # 638 for 63 years, Scottish Rite Valley of Louisville and the Shriners Club of Louisville. He is survived by his wife the former Deloras Lee Schildknecht, 4 sons, John Wm. Daugherty of Marysville, IN, Michael and Ronald Daugherty both of Louivsille and Darrell Daugherty of New Albany, IN., 3 brothers, Clarence Daugherty, Leonard Daugherty and Larry Daugherty, 3 sisters, Mary Sanders, Libby Hargidan and Norma Holland, 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
