John was born on February 25, 1973 in Jeffersonville, IN the son of John Kern and Armina Cole. He worked construction with his father and brothers, enjoyed playing his guitar, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his daughters, Bobbie Cole of Jeffersonville and Josie and Elzie Cole of Palm Coast, FL; sons, John Cole and Kenneth Cole both of Scottsburg, IN and Luke Amburgey of Charlestown; parents, John Kern and Armina Cole of Lexington, IN; brothers, Jason Cole of Lexington, IN, Ollie Cole of Indianapolis, IN, Nathan Cole of Henryville, IN and Jesse Cole of Lexington, IN; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown. Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday until the time of service.
