John Henry Cain

John Henry Cain, 78 of Marysville, IN passed away on Thursday November 7, 2019 surrounded by his family.

John was born on May 15, 1941 in Marysville to James O. and Edna Mae Logsdon Cain.  He graduated from New Washington High School in 1959 and retired from Louisville Gas and Electric in 2006 after 40 years where he was a foreman.

John was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed both hunting and bass fishing.  For years John fished competitively and made many wonderful friends and memories.

John was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Jo Myers Cain, brothers, Joseph “Joe” Webb and Larry Cain, sister, Barbara Cain.

John is survived by his son, David Cain; daughters, Jennifer Kennedy and Bobbi Cain all of Marysville, grandchildren, Jordan, Nicholas, Kennedy, and Samuel Cain, Lauren and Mitchell Kennedy; brother Ray Cain of Jeffersonville; sisters, Nina Armstrong of Henryville, IN, Dolly Cain of Jeffersonville, Mae Gabbard of Charlestown, Carol Humes of Jeffersonville and many nieces and nephews.

A Life Celebration Gathering will be held on Saturday November 16, 2019 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington.

Expressions of sympathy made take the form of donations to the family to help with medical expenses.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
