Mr. Akemon a native of Hazard, KY and member of the Laborers Union Local 795 died Saturday March 18, 2006 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville. He is survived by his children Ricky and David Akemon, his daughters, Delynn Sizemore, Bess Burgstrom and Carol Smith, his brothers and sisters, Luther, Jane, Luley, Doris Jean, Edith and Della Mae and 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
