Joetta Jean Shain

Joetta Jean Shain, 76 of Charlestown passed away on Sunday January 14, 2018 at Kentuckiana Medical Center in Clarksville, IN.
Joetta was born on August 30, 1941 in Louisville, KY to Russell and Helen Green Shain. She was a 1959 graduate of Charlestown High School, an avid Kentucky Basketball Fan, a lifetime member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and a member of First Baptist Church in Charlestown for 65 years and a retired Medical Assistant at the old Goodman Clinic for over 50 years.
Joetta is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Eddie Shain and nephew David Armstrong
She is survived by her sister, Mary S. Clark of Bardstown, KY; nephews, Matthew Clark and James Armstrong; niece, Terri O’Leary.
Funeral services will be held at 12 pm on Saturday January 20, 2018 at First Baptist Church with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 pm to 8 pm Friday at Grayson Funeral Home and after 10 am Saturday at the church.
Expressions of sympathy can be made to the family for funeral expenses.
