Joan Zollman, 70 of Otisco, IN passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at her home.
Joan was born on May 7, 1945 in Louisville, KY the daughter of Walter Earl and Bertha Jane Marshall Wood Sr. who preceded her in death. She was a member of Community Tabernacle Church in Otisco and enjoyed quilting, crocheting and taking care of her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband Loren Zollman whom she married on May 10, 1963; daughters, Lisa Dieterlen and her husband Steve of Otisco, Lora Smith and her husband Sam of Pfafftown, North Carolina and Kelly Heal and her husband John of Charlestown, IN; brothers, Walter Wood Jr. of Lexington, IN, John Wood of Crestwood, KY, Bill Wood of LasCruces, NM and Robert Wood of New Washington, IN; grandchildren, Derek, Kara, Megan, Daniel and his wife Danielle, Kala, Alyssa and Ben; great-grandchildren Jazmine and Makenzie.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. on Thursday until time of services. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Joan may take the form of donations to Alzheimer’s Association, American Cancer Society or Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
