Jo Ann (Stone) Dellarosa

Jo Ann DellaRosa, 78 of Charlestown passed away on Friday, January 9, 2015 at her daughter’s home with her family by her side.
Jo Ann was born on May 9, 1936 the daughter of Shelby and Anna Katherine Jones Stone in Clark County, IN. She retired from the Jay-C Store in Charlestown after 20 years as a Deli Clerk and she was a beloved mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her children and she would say “My children are my life”, daughters, Kitty DellaRosa, Annette Jackson(Rickie), Denise Clark(Kenny) and Carmella Gavin(Tom) all of Charlestown; sons Danny DellaRosa and Tony DellaRosa both of Charlestown; 24 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Anthony DellaRosa Sr.; sisters, “Pete” and Norma Bussey; brothers, Stanley Stone and Sammy Stone; a nephew, Dale Ziehm.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. on January 13, 2015 at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Owen Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 12 Noon to 8:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. until time of service on Tuesday.
