Jim Gray, 71, of Charlestown, passed away Monday, February 25, 2013 at his home.
He was born on November 20, 1941 to Charles and Amanda (Taylor) Gray in Knox Co., KY. He worked for G.E., Brockway, IMCO containers, and retired from Wyandot Inc. in Jeffersonville. He was also a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Ronnie Gray.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn (Carnes) Gray of Charlestown, IN; sons, Scott Gray (Terri) of Charlestown, IN, and Doug Gray (Jenny) of Charlestown, IN; sisters, Ruth Mills of Barboursville, KY, Sue Baker of Bardstown, KY, and Betty Turner of Barboursville, KY; brothers, Michael Gray of Himyer, KY, and Charles Gray of Barboursville, KY; grandchildren, Shelby, Ganon, Kalynn, Landon, and Logan; 1 great-grandchild, Xander.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at 12pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial to follow in the Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6pm to 8pm, and after 10am on Wednesday.
