Jesse Watson, a beloved figure in the wrestling community and a cherished family man, passed away on February 23, 2026, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, after suffering from a brief illness. Born on December 1, 1992, in Jeffersonville, Jesse’s life was filled with passion, laughter, and dedication that touched many.

An aspiring professional wrestler, Jesse began his wrestling career on June 27, 2009. He was not just a competitor but also the founder of 5 Star Championship Wrestling, where his talent shone brightly. He distinguished himself by winning five King of the 5 Star battles, the coveted Match of the Year in 2023, and the notorious Doorway to Hell match. Furthermore, Jesse held the honor of being the #1 longest reigning champion of the 5 Star and was proudly inducted into the MCIW-New Breed Hall of Fame in April of 2018. He was famously known as Most Hated Jesse Watson by his fearful opponents.  Most Hated also was The Water Boy for Blair Carmen and The Belleview Boys. His contributions to the sport not only showcased his abilities but also inspired many aspiring wrestlers. Most 

Jesse attended Charlestown High School. Jesse's academic journey was just one facet of a life that was rich in personality and humor. Known as a jokester, he brought laughter to his family and children, embodying joy in every moment. He had a deep appreciation for the Amish community and their simpler ways of living, reflecting his values and interests.

Jesse's hobbies included spending quality time with his wife and children, as well as indulging in video games like Fortnite. He found immense joy in family gatherings, encompassing the essence of support and love within his household.

He is survived by his father, James (Pam) Florence; his mother, Virginia Stanley; his beloved wife, Sasha Watson; and his children: sons Hunter Watson and Jesse Watson, Jr., daughter Breanna Watson, as well as his stepsons Gabriel Lesnet and Korbyn Wilson, and stepdaughters, Emma Lesnet and Molli Allen. Jesse also leaves behind his sisters, Priscilla (Trent) Roll and Amber (Austin) Delaney, and his brother Elvis Florence. Together, they will hold onto the precious memories shared with Jesse, his infectious laughter, and unwavering spirit forever imprinted in their hearts.

Most Hated Jesse Watson’s legacy will live on, not just through his accomplishments in professional wrestling but through the love he shared with his family and the joy he spread to those around him. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

All services will be held at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, Indiana. Visitation will take place beginning on Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM and again on Monday, March 2, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will follow on March 2, 2026, starting at 1:00 PM, and burial will follow at Charlestown Cemetery.
