Jesse James Mooneyhan

Jesse J. Mooneyhan 78, of Charlestown, IN passed away on Sunday December 11, 2022, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN.

He was born August 22, 1944, in Bowling Green, KY to Frank and Lillie Baxter Mooneyhan.  Jesse was a former member of the Kentucky Army National Guard.  He retired as a carpenter and was a member of the Henryville Masonic Lodge #651.  He enjoyed listening to country music, playing his guitar, supporting the Kentucky Wildcats and watching Judge Judy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his father who raised him, Carl Joiner, Sr., brothers, baby Mooneyhan, Frank Mooneyhan, Carl Joiner, Jr; and sister, Sharon Gail Joiner

Survivors include his wife, Carolen Mooneyhan, daughters, Kelly Mooneyhan of Charlestown, Shari Bradshaw (Brian) of Charlestown; sons, Anthony W. Woods (Alma) of Sellersburg, IN, Mark Mooneyhan of Louisville, KY; brothers, Jimmy Joiner of Louisville, Billy Joiner of Tennessee; sisters, Pamela Jo Hester of Louisville, Brenda Thrasher of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Cassie Woods, Andrea Helton, Julie Woods, Justin Jeffries, Peyton Bradshaw, Alexis Dillander, Haylie Woods, Ashley Tyler; great grandchildren, Maverick Richie, Maddax Richie, Mariah Woods, Raven Woods, Autumn Woods, Manie Jane Sanders.

Life Celebration Services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday December 17, 2022, at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery near Henryville, IN.  Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday and after 9:00 am on Saturday.

Masonic services will be at 7:00 pm on Friday.
