Jerry Ronald Wiggam, 80, of New Washington passed away on Saturday Feb. 2, 2013 at Hillcrest Village in Jeffersonville, IN.
He was born on July 5, 1932 in Madison, IN to Charles and Orvia Stodghill Wiggam. Jerry was an army veteran of the Korean Conflict, a retired driver for the old Nachand Beverage Co. in Jeffersonville and a former tobacco farmer. He was a member of the New Washington Christian Church, American Legion Post 335 and was a former past democratic precinct committee member.
Jerry is survived by his wife the former Audrey Tucker, sons; Dwight Wiggam (Marilyn) of Dublin, OH, Duane Wiggam (Pam) of New Washington, IN and Derwin Wiggam of Louisville, KY., brothers Norman and Larry Wiggam both of New Washington, IN, sister; Audrey Richards of Nabb, IN, grandchildren; Erica Woodward (Gary) of Charlestown, IN and LaDawn Woods (Cecil) of Phenix City, AL., great grandchildren; Trey & Tyler Woodward and Castiel Woods.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday Feb. 6, 2013 at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and after 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
