Mr. Markovich passed away Monday July 6, 2009 at Floyd Memorial Hospital.
He was owner and operator of his successful sign business for 40 years. Jerry was a member of the First Baptist Church in Charlestown, heavily involved in Masonry and Shrinedom for over 20 years and was the 2007 Potentate of Murat, a special deputy for the Marion Co., IN Sheriffs Dept. and served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife Dianah Louks-Markovich; twin daughters, Christina (Chad) Tennant, Roanoke, VA and Colette (Jon) McCoy, Charlestown; sister, Judy Serocinski, DeMotte, IN; brothers, Joel Markovich, East Chicago, IN and Jim Markovich, Cedar Lake, IN; grandchildren, Luke, Ella and Addison McCoy and Kylee and Braeden Tennant.
