Jerry Wayne Hurt

Jerry Wayne Hurt, 70 of Marysville, IN passed away on Thursday October 30, 2014 at the VA Medical Center in Louisville, KY. He was born March 9, 1944 in Hopkinsville, KY to Clayton and Anna Hancock Hurt who preceed him in death.
Jerry was a Captain in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War where he earned a Bronze Star. He worked as a maintenance supervisor at Ryder Truck Rental in Louisville, KY for 24 years. He was a member of the Otisco United Methodist Church, New Washington Masonic Lodge #167 and the Stephensburg, KY Masonic Lodge #212.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years Sue Grady Hurt; sons, Jay Hurt (LouAnn) of Marysville, IN, Kerry Hurt of Lexington, IN; sister Carolyn Sly of California; Grandchildren, Jesse Hurt (Amber) and Amy Hurt.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday November 3, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington, IN with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm and after 9:00 am on Monday. Masonic services will be on Sunday at 3:00pm with Military services at the gravesite.
