Jerry Nelson Evans, 68, of Marysville, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at his home.
He was born on July 29, 1944 to Charles and Amelia (Reynolds) Evans in Scottsburg, IN
He was a retired heavy equipment operator, and formerly attended Otisco United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Ronald Evans.
Survivors include his daughters, Christine Horsley of Marysville, IN, and
Catherine Alsept (Hagan) of Charlestown, IN; sisters, Joyce McVicker of Sellersburg, IN
Karen Trimble of Jeffersonville, IN, and Sharon Holland of Marysville, IN; grandchildren, Stacy Horsley, Brandon Horsley, Alyssa Alsept, and Logan Alsept; great-grandchild, Morgan Horsley.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 11am at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial to follow in the Otisco Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2pm to 7pm, and after 9am on Saturday.
Expressions of sympathy can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
