Jerry Joe Cravens, 73, of Marysville died Monday October 17, 2011 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, IN.
Mr. Cravens was born on October 13, 1938 in Crothersville, IN to Ephriam and Ella Scifres Cravens who preceded him in death.
He was a former employee of Cummins Engine, Marble Hill and Hoosier Energy. He was also an army veteran, a member of the Nabb Presbyterian Church, a Mason and a board member of the Clark County Public Libraries.
Survivors include his wife the former Joyce Hamblin, sons; David A. Cravens (Angela) of Nabb, IN, Daniel C. Cravens (Juli) of Rock Hill, SC, daughter; Amy Jo Cravens-Millar (Rich) of Indianapolis, IN, brother; Ralph Cravens of Crothersville, IN and grandchildren Jacob, Jordan, Parker, Natalie, Shelby and Kendall.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday October 22, 2011 at the Trinity United Presbyterian Church in New Washington.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday at Grayson New Washington Funeral Home and after 10 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
