Jean Tillett, 83 of Charlestown passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Clark Memorial Hospital.
Jean was born August 25, 1927 in Big Clifty, KY the daughter of Joseph Earl and Edna Knott Ringo. She retired form the Goodman Medical Clinic in Charlestown after 20 years of service and was a member of the North Charlestown Church of God.
Survivors include her daughters, Stephanie Brinson and her husband (Charlie), Sellersburg and Sondi Washabaugh and her husband Joe, Hays, VA; sons, Joseph Dale Tillett and his wife Arlene, Sellersburg, Tim Tillett and his wife Kelly, Charlestown and David Tillett and his wife Heather, Jeffersonville; sister, Jo Ann Cox, Louisville; brothers, Richard Ringo, R. L. Ringo, Mike Ringo, and Lloyd Ringo all of Louisville; 9 grandchildren, Rachel, Rebekah, Jordan, Garlynne, Zachary, Nichole, Lee, Bryant and Alyssa; 2 great-grandchildren, Jaden and Maci. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Oscar Tillett; brother, Jim Ringo
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, April 15, 2011 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6 to 8 P.M. and Thursday 9 A.M. to 8 P.M. and after 9 A.M. Friday until time of service. Expressions of Sympathy to North Charlestown Church of God.
