Jean G (Cross) Pierce

Jean G. Pierce, 80 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.

Mrs. Pierce was born on January 29, 1940 the daughter of Tye and Marie Glass Cross. She was a member of the Calvary Temple in Indianapolis, IN.

She was preceded in death by her husband Samuel Pierce; siblings, Herbert Cross, Lois Janes.

Survivors include her daughter, Tamara Pierce and husband, David Posante of Charlestown, IN; sons, Michael Pierce of Charlestown, Rick Pierce and  wife Tien of Atlanta, GA and Timothy Pierce of Jacksonville, NC; brother, Wendell Cross and wife Phyllis of Jeffersonville; 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Life celebration services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday May 16, 2020 at 1 pm at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm on Saturday.

Due to the current Federal, State and Local mandates regarding visitations only twenty-five people will be allowed in the funeral home at a time.  Please be aware that if you come you may have to wait a few minutes.  The family and we here at Grayson Funeral Home will accommodate you during this time.  The funeral service is limited to a total of sixty persons and social distancing requirements will be followed.
