Janet Catherine Griffith, 80 of Lexington, IN died on Friday June 8, 2012 at Floyd Memorial Hospital.
She was born on April 8, 1932 in Red Jacket, WV to Oliver and Laura Curry Murray. She retired from the U.S. Census Bureau in Jeffersonville, IN and was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Charlestown.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Griffith, Sr., and sons, Donnie Griffith and Bill Griffith, Jr.
She is survived by her sons; Barry Griffith and Jack Griffith both of Lexington, IN and Mike Griffith of Austin, IN. and 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday June 12, 2012 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday and after 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
