Jamie Ladonna (Ramsay) Ballard

Jamie LaDonna Ballard, 53, of Charlestown, IN passed away on Monday February 28, 2023, at her home.

She was born on May 12, 1969, in New Albany, IN to Gary and Joan Calloway Ramsay.  She was an employee of Discount Labels, owner of Ballard Tax Services and a member of Bunker Hill Christian Church.  Jamie enjoyed fishing, sewing, baking, spending time at Dale Hollow Lake and supporting University of Louisville Cardinals sports teams.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rickey Ballard, mother, Joan Ramsay, son, Steven Ballard, and grandparents Glenn and Nellie Calloway and James and Louise Ramsay.

Jamie is survived by her children, Rachel Fitch (Robert) of Crothersville, IN, Candy Couch (Shaun) of Hanover, IN, Robert Ballard of Scottsburg, IN and Paul Ballard (Kirstin) of Charlestown; her significant other, Todd Treitz of Charlestown; father, Gary Ramsay of Pekin, IN; brother, Joseph Ramsay of Pekin; sisters, Julie Jenkins (David) of Pekin and Karri Ramsay of Borden, IN; 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Life Celebration Services will be at 12:00 pm on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with Rev. Patrick Coyle presiding.  Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery in New Washington, IN.  Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday and after 10:00 am on Thursday.
