James "Steve' Steven Fraze

James “Steve’ Steven Fraze, 77 of North Vernon, IN. passed away after a brief illness on Monday, April 21, 2025, at the Schneck Medical Center.

Steve was born on August 29, 1947, in Little Rock, AR., to James W. and Lois B. Hayes Fraze.  He worked as a landscaper, loved fishing, and spent his free time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife of 16 years, Lisa Laree Fraze, his sister, Brenda Fraze, and his brother-in-law, Gill Hardesty.

Left to cherish his love for the outdoors are his daughters, Stephanie Brown (Norm), Stacey Fraze (Jeremy Jamtzen), and Shannon Minton (Joseph); siblings, Randy Fraze (Jerry), Sherri Johnson (Harold), Linda Hardesty, and Bev Fraze; along with his 10 grandchildren, Mark, Zach, Gabby, Mick, Chyenne, Cherokey, Ruthie, Trinity, Nevah, and James.

The family has chosen cremation with burial to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in New Washington, IN. Dates and times will be announced later.
