James Virgil Sapp

James V. Sapp, age 87 of Charlestown, IN passed away on September 13, 2012 at his residence.
Mr. Sapp was born on June 24, 1925 in Philpot, Kentucky to Lawrence and Ellen Sapp. He was a WW II Veteran while serving in the U.S. Navy and a retired chemical operator and a farmer.
Survivors include his loving wife; Jessie Crum Sapp, daughters; Joy Hawks (Larry), Bessie Adams (Jerry), and Bonita Sapp, son; Gary Sapp (Mary), two granddaughters; Cindy Durham (Johnny Joe), Ira Proctor (Adam), four great grandchildren; and a special friend Connie Horn and his loving dog Scooter.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday September 17, 2012 at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington with burial in Old Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home after 10 a.m. on Monday.
