Mr. Rhodes died Sunday, December 16, 2007 at the V.A. Memorial Hospital in Louisville. He is survived by a son James Leroy (Terri)Rhodes; daughter, Betty Clapp; three sisters, Nellie, Patty and Mary Helen; four brothers, Tommy, Charles, Billie and Joe.
