James "Jimmy" "Jimbo" Pittman, born on September 30, 1952, in Charlestown, Indiana, passed away on February 18, 2026, in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He was a cherished member of his community, known for his warm heart and infectious sense of humor.

Jimmy dedicated over 15 years of his professional life to New Hope Workshop, followed by five years at Rauch Industries. His commitment to his work was matched only by his passion for spending time with his housemates, family, friends, and especially his girlfriend. Together, they created lasting memories, particularly during their special dinner dates, which he held dear.

Life's simple pleasures brought Jimmy immense joy, whether it was fishing, exploring yard sales, or embarking on spontaneous adventures. He was generous with his affection, always ready to share a smile, a hug, or a hearty laugh. His endearing spirit was evident in his love for reminiscing, often pulling out photographs to introduce others to the people who mattered in his life.

Jimmy's family, though large and extended, will forever remember the warmth and laughter he brought into their lives. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Pittman; beloved girlfriend, Sharon Nolot; aunts Virginia Jenkins and Mary Wade; uncles Edward Lozier and Cecil Lozier; and his grandparents, Margaret and Edward Lozier. His proudest accomplishment was finding companionship, a testament to his loving nature.

Those who had the privilege of knowing Jimmy will forever treasure his memory, holding onto the countless moments that defined a life filled with love and laughter.
