James "J.P." Howard

James Preston “J.P.” Howard, 63 of Charlestown passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Kentuckiana Medical Center in Clarksville, IN.
J. P. was born on April 16, 1953 in Hazard, KY the son of Harvey and Hazel Couch Howard. He was a Pump Shop Operator for the former Dupont Chemical Co. in Louisville, KY.
He is survived by his daughters, Tami Renn and her husband Keith of Clarksville, IN, Keli Kaskie and her husband Mike of Sellersburg, IN and Amber Howard of Henryville, IN; sister, Geneva Adams of Charlestown; grandchildren, Logan and Conner Voelker, Sierra and Mackenzie Kaskie. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law Darrell “Red” Adams.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. Wednesday until the time of service.
