James Vernon Hart, 72, of Lexington, IN died Saturday December 31, 2011 at his home.
He was born on October 1, 1939 in Switzerland County, IN to James R. and Nellie V. Rowland Hart. Mr. Hart was a truck driver for over 52 years and a member of the Paynesville Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his father James Robert Hart and a sister Falba Fettig.
Survivors include his wife Susan Smith-Hart, sons; Richard James Hart, Anthony Ray Hart and Robert David Hart all of Madison, IN, daughter; Kimberly Sue Jameison of Madison, mother; Nellie Johnson of Elwood, IN, brothers; Raymond Fay Hart of Hanover, IN and Billy Hart of Florida, 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday January 5, 2012 at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington. There will be no formal funeral services.
