James Paul Goins, Sr., 96 passed away at Green Valley Care Center in New Albany, IN on Tuesday, March 29, 2011.
He was born on March 6, 1915 in Kentucky the son of William and Minnie Elizabeth Smith Goins. Mr. Goins was a Carpenter and a member of Community Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his daughters, Beverly Zollman, Charlestown, Pat Larkins, Rapid City, SD and Phyllis Ferguson, Daytona Beach, FL; a son James Goins, Lavergne, TN; nine grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday April 2, 2011 at 11 AM at Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday beginning at 3 to 8 PM and on Saturday after 9 AM until time of service.
