Mr. Givan a native of Louisville and former employee of General Electric was born on October 23, 1942 to James and Dora Schoedinger. He was a member of the Air National Guard and American Legion Post 335 in Charlestown. He is survived by his sister Ruth Gullion (Larry) of Charlestown and three nieces and two nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Connie Givan, brother Raymond Givan and nephew James Gullion.
